PROJECT OVERVIEW

Lions Airport City Old Girls Hostel is Owned By:

Bangalore Airport City Lions Service Trust (R) (BALST)

A permanent charitable trust of Lions Club of Bangalore Airport City, Lions Club international, Dist 317-E.

This hostel is again situated in Devarachikkanahalli, behind IIM-B, next to our Old Age Home. This hostel was inaugurated by Sri Sri Sri Vemana Swamiiji in 2013. The hostel has the capacity to accommodate 56 girls and consists of 28 rooms.

 

The girls are chosen on merit basis and financial bases and they are charged very nominal for their boarding and lodging. A computer centre has also been set-up for the benefit of the girls.

 

We have girls studying Engineering, Medicine and Post-Graduation courses in this home. These girls also spend time with the Old Age Home inmates.

The foundation stone for girl‘s hostel was laid by Lion. Barry.J.Palmer on 28 Feb 2012 in the presence of:
